Lavell, born in May 2010, is a sweet and expressive young boy who likes to go by “Junior”. He communicates his needs and emotions through actions, facial expressions, and body language. He enjoys spending time on his tablet, which is a comfort item to him. He also enjoys watching tv. One of his favorite activities is doing his special dance to his favorite praise songs, which is a way he expresses excitement. He responds positively to affection and enjoys being loved on by people he trusts. Routine and structure are extremely important to his sense of security. Reginald, born in April 2011, likes to go by “Reggie”. He is a bright and gentle young boy. He is a great listener and responds well to familiar voices, routines, and structured environments. He communicates by attempting to mouth words and uses nonverbal cues to show his needs and interests. He enjoys time outdoors, especially running and exploring open spaces. One of his self-soothing behaviors includes pacing while fidgeting with a piece of string, which helps him to regulate and feel at ease. He enjoys playing on his tablet, playing on his keyboard, and watching Nick Jr. Music is a special interest of Reggie’s. He finds joy in playing on his keyboard and is showing great progress in learning how to use it.
Ruby, born in March 2012, is a sweet, gentle, and thoughtful young girl who brings a calming presence to those around her. She enjoys praise dance, swimming, and spending time on her tablet. She also likes to watch tv. Her favorite show and character is Bluey. Ruby’s favorite color is pink. While she can be shy in new settings, she becomes more outgoing and expressive when participating in activities she loves. She is naturally helpful and often looks for ways to help others. She gets along well with her brothers and likes to help them. Ruby likes to pray and often prays for people she loves. Ruby benefits from consistent routines, clear expectations, and patient guidance. She thrives in supportive environments where she feels encouraged and understood.
